Sometimes people come in with very specific ideas or styles for their hair.  

Jose came in with very long wavy hair and brought in pictures of a blunt bob, a very popular trend set by the Kardashians. However, Jose has waves that tend to wave up into a wedge if cut blunt.

We went a little longer with Jose’s hair so it wouldn’t rise up. I added layers a the bottom to take out the wedge.  This way, she could flat iron her hair or just blow it out with a brush.  A longer length that worked for her hair type, but the same effect in the end.
